en Cuevana. Bob, a traveling hot dog vendor, returns home to find that his girlfriend, Lina, has run off with a man named Miguel to try her hand at Hollywood. Deeply offended, he decides to chase the fugitives and kill them. To this end, he pools all his savings; he gets his friend Dick to lend him a gun and a stolen car; then he sets out on a journey. Testing the gun in a place he believes to be deserted, he kills a man who had given a ride to an eccentric young woman. Bob is forced to take the young woman with him, who forces him on a series of vicious detours until, from a drug overdose, she dies in front of the statues of the Presidents carved into the rock.
